* To register for the reduced member fee, you must be a member in good standing of the International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association (IPITA).
**Students and Trainees are required to submit a photocopy of their 2025 student/license ID or an official letter on their institution’s letterhead written in English and signed by their supervisor or division or department head. The document must be uploaded online during the online registration.
***Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHP) are required to submit an official letter (in English) from their employer confirming they currently work as an AHP. The document needs to be uploaded during the online registration.

Registration to the Congress is open to all medical practitioners, researchers and allied healthcare professionals operating in the field of transplantation, endocrinology, cell biology and associated disciplines. The Congress registration fee includes:
- Admission to congress scientific sessions, exhibition, and poster areas
- Coffee breaks and Lunches
- Opening Ceremony on SUN, June 15
- Congress Dinner on TUE, June 17

The Pre-Congress Symposium has limited participants and places will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
Registration to the Congress is mandatory to take part in the Pre-Congress Symposium.
Note: to benefit from the early bird and standard registration, payment must be received before the deadlines.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be sent in writing to registrations.ipita2025@ega.it. Requests of cancellation must be submitted no later than the stated deadlines:
- Up to April 28st: 100% refund.
- From April 29th to May 30th: 50% refund.
- After May 30th: No refund.
Refunds will be issued after the Congress. Expire dates refer to 23:30 hrs CET time.
Name Changes
Requests for name changes should be sent in writing to registrations.ipita2025@ega.it.
Non-European and Schengen citizens may need to secure a visa before traveling to Italy. Visas, when applicable, must be requested at the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country of long-term residence, presenting an official personalized invitation letter (prepared solely for the visa application) that you can request by writing to registrations.ipita2025@ega.it. Remember to send a copy of your passport as an attachment when requesting a customized invitation letter.
We recommend you contact the Italian Consulate as soon as you decide to attend the IPITA 2025 Congress, as obtaining a visa usually takes a long time. To get complete information, visit the official website of the Italian Foreign Ministry.
